more of a lark

liamtamnes:

Looks like AJ is second cover Cosette until June.

So I’m guessing Sarah O’Connor is being bumped up to first cover Éponine because Helen’s got a baby bump

In my life

les-mots-croises:

There has never been an Eponine in the history of the theatre who sang “Every word that he says is a dagger in me” without being annoying.

I agree that this phrase tends to be a little on the whiny side but for me it’s what made me love Helen Owen’s Eponine. She puts in so much heartbreak and disappointment in that one line and it just kills me every time.

Happy 32nd Birthday, Helen! :)

Heeeleeeeen. As much as I do kinda want to see her as a principle, I also greatly respect performers who choose to remain ensemble/swings.

Well, I don’t think it’s so much down to choice, but… well. And she’d be a fantastic swing, come to think of it.

It’s so true! That being said I’d love to see her continue her current track, her whore is lovely… Though I really want to see her as Éponine someday. It’s one of my favourite portrayals of the character.
